Nightly Reading from the Literacy Lab
- Each student should read 6 out of 7 nights of the week: 15 minutes (k,1) 20 minutes (2,3,4), 30 minutes (5)
- Students in first and second grade should practice their sight words 2x each night. They will be assessed each Friday.
- Parents: sign the calendar each night your student reads. If you happen to forget one night, please do not go back and sign. Unfortunately, the student will not receive credit unless the calendar is signed that night.
- For students who practiced reading and got signatures 6/7 nights, they will receive a prize on Fridays for their hard work and effort.
